Most Successful Pain Relief Tip
Living a drunken life, not that kind of drunk, but drunk with life and love.
I’m sitting here and I’m in pain. My body aches everywhere! I spent the night trying to vomit.
My body wanted to vomit so badly, but I couldn’t.
I know, not a pleasant picture! But what does my story have to do with pain relief?
Since I’m in pain, I thought I would share my BEST tip on how to relieve your pain!
Most Successful Pain Relief Tip
This is for back pain, wrist pain, hip pain, diseases, autoimmune flare-ups, colds, flus, and for any other type of pain.
You can help heal your pain by 1. identifying the trauma that was the catalyst for the pain, and 2. decoding the message the pain is giving you.
P.A.I.N. stands for pay attention inward now. Pain is just a messenger.
My Case
What trauma did I put my body through that was the catalyst of me getting sick?
As a bighearted person, I was taking on so many responsibilities that were not mine - like carrying everyone’s hiking backpack during a hike.
My daughter felt bad. I felt the need to wash her dishes.
Another daughter wants to get certified in yoga. She’s already supporting herself 100% in college. I felt the need to earn the money for her certification.
My dear friend is desperately looking for a job. I felt the need to help her.
I want to earn a new certification. I was desperately trying to earn money for that too.
My younger children should have practiced the piano yesterday, but I was sick. They won’t practice without me. My youngest is 9, not 5.
I could list so many other responsibilities that I was taking upon myself that weren’t mine.
My body literally came to a screeching halt last night. I was trying to vomit or rid myself of everything I was carrying.
Your Brain is Tricky! There’s No Trauma Here!
If you’ve gotten this far, you probably like to help people! You have a big heart!
Your brain will tell you that you’re just trying to help, not take away people’s responsibilities.
But you can’t trick your body if you’re getting sick! Your pain is telling you, “Enough!”
The message I learned was that my body knew I was trying to solve everyone’s problems. But God/Universe and my loved ones are powerful enough together to solve any problem!
In my need to help everyone, I took on too much and my body came to a halt.
One More Case Study
Lower back pain is common in my patients. It usually stems from trapped negative emotions from childhood.
The emotions behind lower back pain are financial instability and insecurity.
Your back supports your body and keeps you upright. Without a spine, you’d be slumped over.
Money supports and upholds life — like having money to buy food and warm shelter.
So if you’ve experience trauma around money, then it results in lower back pain.
It may sound crazy, but it’s true! You can heal your lower back by healing the old trauma.
Conclusion
Trauma is unavoidable. But you can learn from it.
You can reduce your pain.
You can find healing through learning the lessons your pain is trying to teach you.
If you need help trying to identify the lessons your pain is trying to teach you, please reach out to a reflexologist, acupuncturist, or to me!
Love you. Wishing you relief, healing, and good days. -Lynne
